Red Hill Estate Winery

Red Hill Estate started producing some of the finest wines from the Mornington Peninsula in 1989. Established by the late Australian Businessman Sir Peter Derham and his wife, Lady Averil, the brand is now known for having the best wines from Australia’s very best Cool Climate wine regions. As a pioneer of sparkling wine on the Mornington Peninsula and with 23 acres under vine, Sir Peter brought a clear vision of what he wanted to achieve under the Red Hill Estate brand.

Some of the world-renowned wines they offer include Blanc de Blanc, a pale straw-coloured wine with fine mousse and persistent bead and is underpinned with crisp acid. They also have their Cellar Door bestsellers such as the Cellar Door Release Pinot Grigio, a true Italian style wine with nashi pear and crisp green apple with fresh melon. If you want something fancy, they have the Cellar Door Release Rosè made from Pinot Grigio and boasts a rich bouquet of acacia flowers and mandarin.

Max’s Restaurant

Located in the heart of Red Hill, Max’s Restaurant and Red Hill Estate are both a buzzing hive of activity and an award-winning restaurant and winery.

Established In 1994, young Max Paganoni returned from his travels through Europe with the dream of showcasing his home, the (then) little known region of the Mornington Peninsula to the world. With a passion for local produce and wines, he set out to create the Peninsula’s first winery restaurant.

Max’s Restaurant is known as a pioneer and the first winery restaurant on the Peninsula. Fast forward to today, the multi-award winning, highly regarded restaurant now serves local, seasonal modern dishes to guests from all over the world.
